牡丹从播种到开花一般要5-6年.

 It takes about 4-6 years for tree peony from seed to blooming plant.

春天最忙但也是最愉快、最盼望的季节。套袋、传粉及为第一次开花的植株拍照做记录，每天工作14-16小时。

Spring is the busiest and the pretties season. Pollinating and photo-recording the first time blooming plants. It is a 14-16 hours/day working season, so is the most pleasant and expected season.

初次开花拍照后要立刻将剩下的花苞都剪掉, 避免重复记录。

Once the photo of the first time blooming plant were taken, the blossoms are cut off to avoid duplicating.

夏天虽然也有做不完的工作，如病虫害、杂草的防除，割草及机器的維修等等, 每一件都不能疏忽，但是对我们来说，这就是人生，美好的乡村生活。

There are endless chore in the Summer but life is very good. Plant diseases, bugs and weeds need to take care, lawn and equipments require to be maintained and everything need to be done on time if possible. But we do enjoy things only the country living can have all the time.

秋季是播种、移栽的季节。从八月中开始采收种子到十一月牡丹苗的移栽结束。

冬季的主要工作是修枝, 下雪后照像, 做树型的记录。

Pruning is done in the late Fall and Winter, photo records of tree forms are taken after snow.
